“Wow, as a seasoned traveler, I was on my way to another motel just 200 yards away and thought, maybe they will honor another motels coupon. Guess what? THEY DID!! The motel staff was very friendly. They have excellent rooms here. I even asked if anybody was above me, because I do not like the foot traffic and noise, they said no and I suspect they did not put anybody there just for me. I appreciate that very much.”

“I was caught off-guard, and had to find a cheap motel fast. Most cheap (price) hotels/motels are dumpy, but not this one. I was nervous about the room when I checked in, but the lobby was nice so there was hope. I was assigned to room 201 and was very pleased. The door is solid and the room was clean. When I saw the word Suites in the motel name, I kind of chuckled, but there was actually a sofa and coffee table in the room. I had a queen-sized bed; microwave; refrigerator, and ironing board. Sadly, there was no coffee machine, so I had to drive to McDonald's for my morning "fix". The bathroom/shower was nice, with thick towels. The TV was small but lots of channels, and a clear picture. The neighborhood is far from ideal, but I was never bothered by noise, and the parking lot is clean and well lit. This is not the Hilton, but for the price I payed ($132 incl. tax for 2 nights), I was impressed. The staff was very friendly, and I plan on staying here again. I usually take pics, but didn't have my camera. I will on my next stay, and will add them to this review. I hope this helped you.”

“This hotel was a great place to stay In Eugene. Very close and convenient to various markets and also great service. The rooms were big and comfy and they had extra towels and clean bedsheets. The other reviewers were correct. Even though this hotel was not the cheapest ($54/night), I felt it was worth every penny.”

“So thankful we found a great clean place to stay as we will be returning regularly to relocate to the area. I called the hotel directly and saved about $8/night over the Expedia site quote (approx $65). This hotel is approximately 1 year old, so the room, fixtures, bedding, tv, etc. are all in immaculate condition. Most are non-smoking rooms; it is a 2 story, L-shaped property. The bathroom has a sink with large granite vanity outside of the separate granite shower/bathtub commode room which works well for multiple people to get ready. There are clean tile floors in the bathroom and closet area, which also holds a good size refrigerator and microwave. There is an ironing board stowed in the closet. There is a writing desk, loveseat with large coffee table, and controllable hvac; the hvac system does not however allow the fan to recirculate the inside air. The bedding was so-o-o-o soft, and there were adequate pillows and blankets for our 2 queen beds. There was even WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET included. There are wheelchair accessible rooms only on the 1st floor. No elevator, just wide well-lit stairs lead to the 2nd floor rooms. The parking spaces are large, so it's easy to pack and load luggage & family. They have a small lobby with coffee, muffins, fresh fruit and cookies from 7am-10am; guest laundry, fax/copy service & pet friendly. There was a constant stream of traffic on 6th Street, but it sounded more like water swooshing. We only had one train conductor lay on his horn regularly about 6 am, so we considered it a wake-up call. Within walking distance, we found a good chinese place called Jade Palace, but our favorite place is the 6th Street Grill; we will be regulars there for their weeknight specials and breakfasts. Definitely on my recommend list.”

“I saw some negative reviews of this hotel elsewhere but since I used to live in Eugene, I knew this was super convenient and in a good place for what I needed to do. They were friendly and organized and the room was one of the best hotel rooms I've stayed in in terms of size, cleanliness, organization, etc. And even though it is close to a busy street, our room was actually too quiet for me -- I had to turn on the fan for a little white noise at night. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This hotel was a great choice. It is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping in the downtown area. Although the hotel is older, they have done nice upgrades with marble surround in the showers and on the bathroom counters. The hotel is well maintained. Parking is well lit for security. The owners are friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to others if you are interested in a good value for the money.”

“I needed a hotel for an event at the McDonald Theatre on short notice. This was the least expensive hotel with availability. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, there was plenty of parking and besides traffic noise, it was quiet. This is not a fancy hotel, the bed wasn't great, but was exactly what I needed for a place to rest for the night.”

“We needed at least 5 rooms for graduation. I called more than 10 hotels in September '09 and only found this one available. Rooms are adequate, beds are comfortable. Amy worked with me to add 2 more rooms on short notice. All were pleased with the rooms. WIFI not great, breakfast isn't much.”
